Easy Easter table

I can NOT believe Easter is this coming week! Where does the time go? Honestly it's one of those cliche sayings but I feel as I get older, and as I watch my kids grow drastically from day to day, life is just flying by. As this happens I am learning to appreciate the smaller events in life, to really savour the holidays and time spent with family and friends. I like to make every holiday special, and you don't have to spend a ton of money to do so!

I put together a little Easter table with some of my favourite products that I will be using for my Easter dinner this year also, I mean who wants to do the dishes anyways?

I started by deciding my colour scheme, and although it's super girly I just love pale pinks and soft colours for Easter. The flowers are starting to bloom so get inspired by the colours around you. Pale yellow, soft pinks and creamy whites. Nothing has to match either, I love this about design. It's nice to play around with different tones, don't worry to much about matching everything.

I just love the pearl finish on these pretty pink plates, they come off sophisticated with their pretty petal design, and the polka dot plate adds a touch of whimsy.

I chose our gold large dot napkin with this because I like how it doesn't completely "match" but goes well with the other items. Our pretty striped cups are perfect for the little ones but chic enough for a glass of adult punch, finish with a gold foil straw and you really have a party!

I got the adorable ceramic bunny's at the Dollarama by my house, they look more like a home sense purchase so I couldn't pass them by! The adorable egg garland is from Michael's, I love how it fills the space and adds a few other soft pretty colours. Adding fresh flowers is my favourite part of any event, if I could have a weekly delivery service of flowers I definitely would, #goals ami' right?

I hope you all have a wonderful Easter weekend with loved ones whatever you do whether its a simple brunch or a full blown egg hunt followed by turkey dinner, I truly hope, you choose to skip the dishes and eat lot's of pie!
